FCS Launchpad is a host for many of the websites we use at Dolvin (Mackinvia, iRead, Redbird, BrainPop Jr., and much more). You can log-in using your student number and birth date.
Seesaw is a digital student portfolio. Students are able to share what they are learning with their fellow classmates and parents. In addition, students use this tool to provide their classmates with feedback on posts they have made.
Spelling City is a website that we use to practice our spelling words. The Words Their Way spelling lists are loaded onto the page. If your child wishes to take a practice test at home, all they need to do is access the website and click on the correct sort. There are also many fun games to play to help your child practice their weekly spelling words.
Safari Montage is an amazing tool that has multiple uses. Students can explore different digital books and videos to learn more about nearly any topic. We use this website frequently in the classroom. Students can login to Safari Montage using their student number and birth date.
Mackinvia is another great tool that is quite similar to Safari Montage. Students also use the same login information for this website.
Flocabulary is a fun website that we use very often in the our class. It turns learning into fun songs that the students can sing along to! This is a paid subscription, so your child will not be able to access it from home; however, I will post the lyrics under the corresponding "Learning" tab for the songs we listen to in class. This allows your child to learn the words at home so they are prepared to sing along during class!
BrainPop Jr. is full of fun educational videos on a variety of different topics. This is also a paid subscription; therefore, your child will not be able to access the videos at home.
GoNoodle is a website we use often in class for brain breaks. Please encourage your child to create their own free account and do some of the activities on their own!
